Predictable and Loving It

I pack my lunch almost every day of the week – so does Dan. And we are so completely boring and predictable.

Frozen meal
Granola Bar (Natures Valley)
100-Calorie Snack (Lorna Doones!)
Fruit (usually banana and whatever else is in season)

That’s food for the day too – not all for lunch!

We’re not on Weight Watchers, but SmartOnes are the best tasting frozen meals out there. At least two times a week I “indulge” in Creamy Rigatoni with Chicken & Broccoli. It’s my go-to SmartOne. I keep thinking I’m going to overdo it and get sick of it, but I can’t get enough. It is so delicious! I even crave it for dinner sometimes – but then I stop myself and cook a real meal:)

I think I need to get out more.

What other ones do you get? I have tried a few SmartOnes and I haven't liked any of them. They are cheaper than Lean Cuisines usually so I want to try some other SmartOnes. Suggestions please!

My "go to" frozen meal is Lean Cuisine Mac and Cheese...omg I could eat every day. Definitely nothing wrong with being predictable!

That would be my lunch sometimes when I worked outside the home.

I love SmartOnes and Lean Cuisine. I rarely bring them to work though, because, despite the 4 microwaves, I can't even get my food cooked in time to actually eat it. Thirty+ staff members trying to microwave their food and eat in one hour just doesn't work.

SmartOnes? They always taste frozen and card-boardy to me. I'm into Lean Cuisines (sesame chicken or peanut chicken).

Hi Laurie :)

Great site! Thanks for visiting me on my little blog! First of all might I say you look amazing in your wedding photo :)

Lovely!

Secondly, I indulge in Smart Ones myself and the occasional Lean Cuisine. They are so amazingly good and I love the portion control!

I wish they'd find a way to cut the sodium on some of these though :(

I've come across Lean Cuisines and others that have a sodium content of 950!

YAK!

We are saving on the calories and fat but killing ourselves with the salt ;)

Sheesh is nothing sacred?

;)

Happy Weekend!

Too bad the things that I would actually be okay eating every day are just not smart to eat so I have to vary it a little.
