I feel so deceived! Anybody tune in to the finale of The Bachelorette last night?
This season has been so good - maybe the best - in my opinion. Last week I was devastated after she dumped Jeremy. I thought about it for days, but decided that it was okay because she would pick Jason.
Hot, sexy, sweet, romantic Jason.
Never in a million years did I think she would pick Jesse. Don't get me wrong, he seems like a nice enough guy but I didn't see the connection during the show. They just shared their first kiss practically and now they're engaged!?
That said, his proposal was heartfelt and when she was describing her feelings for him I gained new perspective.
I just didn't think she'd go for the long-haired, no-lips, no-job snowboarder. And I was mad at her for letting Jason get down on one knee. I hope he or Jeremy gets to be the next Bachelor.
Anyone watch the After the Final Rose? I went to bed after seeing Shayne and Matt (who by the way are really cute together!) What was the big surprise announcement?

The surprise announcement is that they will be married May 9, 2009 in the Bahamas. I was surprised that she picked Jessie at first, but in retrospect it makes sense. Plus, I think that they both really seem to be happy and care about each other. Jason was a great guy though. He needs to be the next bachelor.
I was shocked! I do hope Jason is the next Bachelor. He is so cute and deserves a second chance.
I was hoping she'd pick Jason, too. He seemed like more her style.

I think she had two awesome guys to choose from - really I was just feeling bad for whoever wouldn't be picked.
I have a thing for snowboarders and was definitely crushing on Jesse the whole show (I also crushed on Graham & Jason) so I was happy with her choice. Plus he is so real, that's a big plus in my book.
I'd be surprised if Jason is willing to be apart from Ty again to be the next bach.
I've heard rumors it may be Paula's ex J.T. Torregiani - at least ABC is in talks with him.
I'll be very happy to see the past two seasons result in long happy marriages - the show hasn't had the best track record :)
I loved Jesse from the beginning and was so happy she picked him! He just seemed more "real" then the others. The other guys kept saying how in love with her they were, etc, whereas Jesse said "I'm so into you," which I think is so much more realistic then being in love with someone after a few weeks or however long the show is...
I was shocked too.. but Jason as the next bachelor would be awesome!
AMEN! I was so pissed that she picked Jesse, not that he's not a nice guy but against Jason it should have been an easy choice. So glad to see that I wasn't alone in my outrage!
I actually LOVED Jesse! My mom and I were both rooting for him. He was so down to earth and real. Such a sweetie. Jason was a great guy, too, but really, Jesse was so much more than what you saw at face value. I think they're quite adorable together! :)g
Umm, I don't know what that "G" was after my smiley face, but it wasn't supposed to be there (looks like a creepy face to me! Eek!)
