Hi everyone, happy Monday!
I'm not that big a fan of Mondays, much prefer the weekend. We had a good one too. I went to Octoberfest in Shirlington on Saturday with some friends. I got home just in time to watch the second half of the Ohio State/Wisconsin game. Luckily, I'd consumed enough beer not to be affected by UW's sad, sad loss.
You know what we've also discovered this weekend? That our sweet, eight-month old puppy has turned into somewhat of a horny teenager. Seriously, she climbed on top of her friend Robbie (he's a poodle mix) last week and went to town. I thought it was an accident, but she's taken to having her way with blankets and towels too. Eek!
Is this just a phase? I mean, she's a girl!

You know...we have a rivalry coming up on Saturday.
Penn State v. Wisconsin
It's ON.
:)
Go Badgers :)
Our 5 year old male dog used to have his own pillow. Funny he won't do it with a couch pillow that falls on the floor - but give him a bed pillow and he is one happy dog. We used to put it in the closet when we had company so he wouldn't embarrass us. He doesn't hump anything else. Then we got a puppy - and the puppy had his own way with the pillow ripping it to shreds. It ended up in the trash. Grisman doesn't seem miss it. Though sometimes they will hump each other - it's rare :)
haha :) my dog is 5 and he still has a "grilfriend" that he takes to every once in a while :)
Sadie humps every dog she encounters. It's slightly embarassing, but hilarious at the same time. IT\t only started after she got spayed.
Oh my God, I am having a humping problem with our 4 month old Jack Russell. He is going to town on everything, but is particularly fond of this giant Loofa Dog toy that he has.
We're actually picking up a 5 month old female Beagle that we rescued from a shelter today. I guess I'll have to warn her during our car ride about her horny brother waiting for her at home!
Would you like to guest post for the Who's Your Dachshund blog about your pup? Email me!
I don't have that problem with our dogs, but I do have that problem with my husband. Weird.
One of my puppies (about seven months) has been humping things a lot lately too. He is particularly fond of human legs and arms, which I guess is him trying to be dominant. Maybe your dog is trying to assert her dominance over the other dog?
