Overheard on The Bachelor

Last week my sister Tricia and I were talking about the Bachelor – after the second episode. Who we liked (Gilian) and who we didn’t (pageant girl, just about everyone else!) and she mentioned that these chicks say some of the most ridiculous things.

So true.

So for my Bachelor recap this week I am going to list for you my favorite (read: most ridiculous) Bachelor quotes from Monday’s episode. Some are funny in their own right but, when given context, some are just pure gold.

In no particular order...

“I like to stare at him”
(Crazy stalker girl) Shannon
Need I say more?

“I kind of want to do a fetus there because they feed off the breast”
(Mommy) Megan on designing her sculpture art
I think that fetus is the wrong term here, perhaps you meant baby or infant

“I’m a role model to other girls...I finally felt worthwhile”
Megan, who apparently went on the Bachelor to show the world she matters
I'd like to know how she is a role model exactly. Also, I don't know many 25 year-olds that look as old as her. Sorry, had to be said.

“As we can all agree, I’d be a better fit for Jason than Megan”
Erica
Really? You think the other girls would agree. Cause I bet they think they are the best fit for Jason.

“I loved it, I loved it, I loved it. It was amazing.” Cue silence
(Pageant girl) Nikki
When talking to Jason about the sculpture art, this was all she could say. Awk-ward

“I know I’m pretty. I know I’m smart.”

She said this after she realized that she wasn’t clicking with Jason. If she’s not talking about babies and being an auntie, girl ain’t got nothing to say!

“I love bears.”

She got an awesome solo date and when Jason asked her to tell him something about herself she said this.

“You don’t feel a connection with me? Who are you? God?”

In the limo after she got dumped by Jason.

“Why is she never my flight attendant”
Dan, my husband when seeing Naomi for the first time

“Did you just look at my boobs?”
Erica, wishing that Jason actually did look at them when in reality he was plotting his escape.

My parting thoughts:

I really only like Gilian. I just don't see any of these other girls working. I think the widowed mother is very nice and sweet, but I don't see a connection. I don't mind Naomi, but they don't mesh either. Who knows, maybe he really will pick DeAnna when she comes back.
