There are some people who are trying to find a way to take this time away from home without having to spend thousands of dollars on hotel, gas, and food bills that come from the whole ordeal. When you are taking the kids along you want them to have fun and to feel included. What you will need to do is take them to the store and have them pick out their own tent. There are a ton of kids camping tents that they are going to love and that will be lightweight enough for them to carry on their own. Just make sure that this is not a difficult process for them to do.
They will be able to find something that has their favorite cartoon characters on it or maybe that has the colors that they love. When they pick it out they will feel more included and will have even more fun trying to put this together.
