On my last few trips to the UK, I decided to take advantage of the SIM Only contract deals. I hated to pay the sky high rates from my normal cell phone carrier while roaming. I found it was very easy to save a lot of money by changing the SIM card to another that I bought in the UK with a plan so that I could avoid the roaming charges while still be able to communicate with all of my friends.
